Dr. Jinsong Zhao
President & CEO
Dr. Jinsong Zhao co-founded Lorentz Solution, Inc in December 2002. The company bootstrapped its development effort and completed its first customer sale in April of 2004. Dr. Zhao has authored two pending patents for Lorentz and led the product development and early customer engagement efforts. Prior to founding Lorentz, Dr. Zhao was a Sr. Member of the Consulting Staff at Cadence Design Systems, leading the R&D effort in mixed-signal parasitic extraction, substrate coupling analysis, and RF behavioral system modeling. Prior to that, Jinsong spent one year at Bell Labs and was co-author of three US patents in RF modeling and IC module design.
Dr. Zhao received his BS and MS in Electrical Engineering (specialized in Electromagnetics and Microwave) from Tsinghua University at Beijing, and earned his PhD in Computer Engineering from UC Santa Cruz. Dr. Zhao also holds an MBA from University of California, Berkeley.
Rod Dudzinski
Vice President of Marketing & Business Development
Rod Dudzinski has over 25 years of leadership experience in the electronic design automation (EDA) and semiconductor industries. Mr. Dudzinski’s entrepreneurial marketing, business development and sales experience is extensive, spanning several successful EDA startups. Mr. Dudzinski previously served in various executive-level marketing, business development, and sales positions at companies that include Tangent Systems, Aristo Technology, Cooper & Chyan Technology, Silicon Metrics and most recently, OEA Technology. Mr. Dudzinski’s efforts have consistently help lead successful execution of the company’s strategy to multiple exits via IPO, merger or acquisitions.
Mr. Dudzinski holds an MBA from the University of Phoenix, and Bachelor of Science degrees in electrical engineering and geophysics from the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California.
